Independent Newsmedia
Queen Creek has started a new capital improvement project at Queen Creek and Signal Butte roads, with a virtual groundbreaking.
See the Town of Queen Creek virtual groundbreaking video here.
The project has multiple components, including a full intersection improvement, extending Signal Butte Road north with five lanes from Queen Creek Road to Ryan Road, and widening Queen Creek Road from Signal Butte to Benjamin Franklin, adding a center turn lane, according to a release.
In addition to the town’s project, private development is making improvements to the area.
The extension of Signal Butte will continue north from Ryan Road to German Road with three lanes and Queen Creek Road will be widened from Signal Butte to Meridian, adding a center lane.
