Posted
Increased traffic is expected over the holiday weekend in Queen Creek, especially on Rittenhouse and Riggs/Combs roads on Sunday, July 4.
Increased activities in the Town’s Agritainment District include Schnepf Farms and the Queen Creek Olive Mill.
The firework display event at Schnepf Farms will be held on July 4 beginning at 4 p.m. For more information regarding both destinations, including event details, visit SchnepfFarms.com and QueenCreekOliveMill.com.
Legal fireworks are only permitted within town limits from June 24 through July 6. Legal fireworks include ground displays and sparkling devices.
Any devices that rise into the air and explode/detonate or fly above the ground are illegal. All fireworks can cause serious burns and injuries.
Additionally, the area is very dry and susceptible to fire this season. For more information on firework safety, including safe disposal tips, visit QueenCreekAZ.gov/Fireworks.
