Eastbound Interstate 10 will be narrowed to two lanes between 24th Street and Broadway Road near Sky Harbor Airport from 10 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Monday for bridge work, state transportation officials said Thursday.
The southbound I-17 ramp to eastbound I-10 will be closed. Eastbound I-10 also will be narrowed to three lanes near US 60, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
The eastbound I-10 on-ramp at 24th Street will be closed, and ADOT officials said drivers should consider using the eastbound on-ramp at 32nd Street.
Detours: ADOT advises motorists to allow extra travel time and consider alternate routes, including eastbound Loop 202 to southbound Loop 101 and westbound Loop 202 in Chandler to reach I-10 beyond the weekend restrictions.
Note: Southbound/eastbound Loop 202 is another alternate freeway route.
