A 48-year-old woman died at a hospital following a Tuesday night crash near 35th and Grovers avenue, Phoenix police said.

Officers responded to the two-vehicle collision about 6:30 p.m. Sept. 17 and found Abagail Lopez Moreno with injuries. She was taken to a hospital where she died, police said.

Lopez Moreno was a passenger in a vehicle headed north on 35th Avenue and making a left turn onto Grovers Avenue, according to a police department release. The vehicle was hit by another vehicle, which was traveling south on 35th Avenue, preliminary information showed.

Both vehicles remained at the scene, and impairment is not suspected, police said.

Charging decisions will be made following an accident reconstruction process.
