Cornerstone Healing Center, a local mental health and substance abuse treatment center, announced the opening of its new 15,000-square-foot facility in West Phoenix, which will provide Intensive Outpatient Programs along with optional supportive housing for those who qualify.

Founder and CEO of Cornerstone Estil Wallace said in a press release that they are committed to making mental health and substance abuse treatment accessible to all Arizonans.

“Our new location will allow us to provide help to those who need it most. By opening a new location in West Phoenix, we’re taking steps to ensure that an underserved community receives the care they need,” Wallace said.

The newly renovated facility has been designed to promote healing, featuring spacious rooms for group therapy, one-on-one counseling and other wellness activities. Located at 4344 W. Indian School Road, Suite 22, it will serve as a vital resource for the Maryvale community, according to the release.

Cornerstone provides an evidence-based approach to treatment, offering flexible Intensive Outpatient Programs that meet either five days a week or four days a week. Additionally, for those eligible, optional supportive housing is also available, ensuring a safe and structured environment during the recovery process.

To celebrate the grand opening, the community is invited to an open house on Thursday, Oct. 24, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the facility, meet the Cornerstone team and hear remarks from Wallace about this new development.
