The most fun way to beat the summer heat is right on Lake Pleasant.

The H2-Whoa! floating waterslide is back for the season in North Peoria. Seasonally perched on Lake Pleasant since 2018, the huge slide just may be the best hangout in the hot summer. At 34 feet in height, Whoa! is the world’s tallest floating waterslide.

Options are available for an hourly pass, a half-day pass, or a full-day pass seven days a week. For added adventure there’s also Night Flights, which allow for nighttime trips down the slide. Night Flights go from 8 to 10 p.m. Friday through Sunday, and the scene is completed with black lights, florescent lights, music, plus smoke and bubble machines.

Through Aug. 30, H2-Whoa! hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. seven days a week. Its Labor Day Weekend season finale features slide hours from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Boat rentals are also available on site. Options include 10-person pontoon boats as well as boats for skiing or tubing.

Tickets can be purchased on site, but booking online in advance is highly recommended to guarantee a spot.
