Banana Ball is coming to the West Valley next year.
The Savannah Bananas will bring their brand of baseball fun to Glendale on their 2025 schedule, the team announced Friday. The team will play games in three straight days, Feb. 6-8, at Camelback Ranch-Glendale.
“We couldn’t be more excited to have these world class baseball entertainers bring Banana Ball,” Camelback Ranch-Glendale President and GM Matt Slatus shared in a press release.
Entering the ticket lottery list does not guarantee the opportunity to buy tickets. A random drawing will take place about two months prior to the first event for the chance to purchase tickets. Single-game tickets are $35 and will go on sale about two months before the event. A limited number of $100 Very Important Banana Tickets will be available as well.
Separately, fans interested in ballpark hospitality spaces in Glendale including suites or the Cutwater Spirits Deck and All You Can Eat Bullpen Patio can join the hospitality wait list by visiting https://www.mlb.com/camelback-ranch/tickets/savannah-bananas.
Those on the wait list will be contacted in order of registration when tickets become available.
The Savannah Bananas are a professional baseball team based in Savannah, Georgia, that take their show on the road with their Banana Ball World Tour.
The Bananas play their own version of baseball called Banana Ball, a fast-paced style of baseball with rules that include no bunting, a two-hour time limit, fans catching foul balls for outs, batters stealing first base, and a one-on-one tiebreaker showdown at the end of the game if tied.
Bananas players are known for such antics as playing a game in kilts, a dancing first-base coach, the first baseball player to wear stilts, players backflipping while catching fly balls, and more.
Game times regarding the Glendale events will be announced at a later date. The Bananas’ opponent will be The Party Animals.
