Sustainable University is hosting two workshops in April during Earth Month.
Tune into the next two workshops on April 10 and April 24. On Saturday, April 10 at 9 a.m. is the Wildlife Friendly Landscapes workshop.
Now more than ever the native wildlife needs help to continue to thrive in urban areas. You can help by turning your yard into a mini wildlife sanctuary. It is easy to create an inviting environment for birds, butterflies and other creatures using a wonderful array of native and desert adapted plants.
The Resilient Landscapes workshop is Saturday, April 24 at 9 a.m. A landscaping expert will walk you through the ways you can increase the resiliency and health of your landscape while still providing shade, color and an aesthetically pleasing view.
