The Salvation Army Kroc Center treats families to Kroctober, Oct. 31

Kroctober returns on Halloween to The Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center Phoenix South Mountain location, 1375 E. Broadway Road.

The free event taking place 4:30-7 p.m., Oct. 31 at the Kroc Center features a night of trick-or-treating, games, prizes, sports activities, inflatable bounce houses, arts and crafts, plus 2,000 pounds of candy and fun for the entire family.

The family-friendly event even won the 2017 Arizona Parks and Recreation Association Special Event Award, according to a press release.

Whataburger has pledged a $500 monetary donation and an additional in-kind donation valued at more than $4,000, which includes fruit snacks, reflective coloring bags, glow bracelets, coupons, and a “Whataburger for a Year” gift basket for raffle.
