Hurley: Why we’re supporting Mark Stanton for mayor

Interestingly we in Paradise Valley are given two choices for mayor, both of whom are good candidates and wonderful public servants and could do an admirable job as our mayor.
Nancy and I have decided after thoughtful consideration to support our neighbor, Mark Stanton, largely because of the depth of his reach into the legislature and the governing bodies of Arizona and many of the people in power, past and present. This is the best way we have early warning of things at the City of Phoenix, Maricopa County, and the state so we can be prudently proactive to protect the Town of Paradise Valley from well-intended but misguided rules and regulations that could negatively impact us.
