A new Series 12 restaurant liquor license is being sought for Whiskey Wednesday Bar & Grill in Mesa.
The Mesa City Council at a meeting at 5:45 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23, at 57 E. First St. is slated to make a recommendation to the Arizona Department of Liquor License and Control for the business at 1457 W. Southern Ave. Suite No. 1.
The Series 12 license allows the holder to sell and serve all types of spirituous liquor solely for consumption on the premises of an establishment that derives at least 40% of its gross revenue from the sale of food, according to the Arizona Department of Liquor License and Control’s website.
The restaurant serves lunch and dinner.
Jeffrey Craig Miller is the agent. The existing license held by Konakava LLC is reverting to the state.
