Banana Ball is coming to the East Valley next year.

The Savannah Bananas will bring their brand of baseball fun to Mesa to kick off their 2025 schedule, the team announced Friday. The team opens their world tour with games Feb. 1-2 at Sloan Park.

Now through until Friday, Nov. 1, fans can enter a lottery to purchase single-game tickets by visiting https://thesavannahbananas.com/tickets/.

Entering the ticket lottery list does not guarantee the opportunity to buy tickets. A random drawing will take place about two months prior to the first event for the chance to purchase tickets. Single-game tickets are $35 and will go on sale about two months before the event. A limited number of $100 Very Important Banana Tickets will be available as well.

Those on the wait list will be contacted in order of registration when tickets become available.

The Savannah Bananas are a professional baseball team based in Savannah, Georgia, that take their show on the road with their Banana Ball World Tour.

The Bananas play their own version of baseball called Banana Ball, a fast-paced style of baseball with rules that include no bunting, a two-hour time limit, fans catching foul balls for outs, batters stealing first base, and a one-on-one tiebreaker showdown at the end of the game if tied.

Bananas players are known for such antics as playing a game in kilts, a dancing first-base coach, the first baseball player to wear stilts, players backflipping while catching fly balls, and more.

Game times regarding the Mesa events will be announced at a later date. The Bananas’ opponent will be The Party Animals.
