If you need something new to read, you can purchase books for a very low price at the Mesa Main Library this weekend.
Taking place at 64 E. First St., the Big Book Sale will run from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, July 19 and Saturday July 20. Hardcover books will run for $1 each and paperbacks will be available for 50 cents.
There will be a multitude of books available, including fiction, nonfiction, romance, business/finance, science fiction, history, cookbooks and many more. A press release from the city of Mesa says the sale was made possible thanks to dedicated volunteers and that all money raised from books sold will go to supporting library programs, improvements and services.
