Missing 88-year-old Mesa man found dead

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said 88-year-old Robert Haymaker, who had been reported missing earlier on Wednesday, had been found dead.

Haymaker, who was last seen at about 6:15 a.m. June 14 near North 92nd Street and East McLellan Road in Mesa, was found near Loop 202 and University.

Haymaker was known to suffer from a medical condition which can cause him to become confused and easily lost. He wearing a short-sleeve striped, tan/blue button up, blue jeans with a western belt buckle, and Nike tennis shoes with orange soles.
