Verlo Mattress opens direct to consumer Glendale store

Verlo Mattress, a direct-to-consumer mattress franchise, opened the doors to Glendale’s first Verlo Mattress factory store at 5729 W. Bell Road, earlier this month.
Verlo Mattress’ new store concept is that every mattress is made at the local factory store in the area it was purchased, tailored to the individual customer to fit their own sleep needs. Mattresses sold at a factory-direct price, cutting out the middleman-associated markup.
Owned and operated by local Glendale franchisees Jonathan Scholz and Michelle Sachau, the new 12,400 square-foot store offers high-quality and hand-made custom mattresses, pillows, adjustable bases and other sleep products.
“We’re proud to be expanding within the Phoenix market,” stated Dirk Stallmann, president of Verlo Mattress, in a press release. “Verlo Mattress is experiencing growth across America because people recognize the high quality of our sleep products. We are excited to continue that legacy in Phoenix.”
The new Verlo Mattress of Glendale is open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. every Monday through Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
Verlo Mattress was founded in 1958 and has 40 stores in nine states .
