The Arizona men’s basketball team will make its inaugural appearance in Glendale for the Wildcats’ Red-Blue Showcase.

The showcase, which will also include a Tucson event, gives fans their first chance to get a look at the 2024-25 Wildcats. Both events will feature player introductions, a 3-point contest, and a slam dunk contest, followed by a scrimmage.

The Glendale showcase will tip off at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11 at Desert Diamond Arena in the Westgate Entertainment District.

The event will be hosted by former Wildcat and NBA champion Richard Jefferson and Road Trippin’ podcast co-host Allie Kaslow, alongside 14-year NBA veteran and 2008 NBA champion Kendrick Perkins.

The Tucson event will take place Oct. 4. Both will be streamed live on ESPN+.

Tickets for the Glendale showcase go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 22 at Ticketmaster.com.

As the Wildcats enter their first year as a member of the Big 12 Conference, ESPN’s Way Too Early Preseason Top 25 rankings have Arizona inside the Top 10 after 2024 Pac-12 Player of the Year Caleb Love opted to return to Tucson alongside Jaden Bradley, KJ Lewis, Motiejus Krivas, Conrad Martinez and Henri Veesaar. The returning core is joined by impact transfers Trey Townsend, Tobe Awaka and Anthony Dell’Orso.
