Once the Glendale Main Library closes Friday night, it is time for Family Nerf War Afterhours from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, June 7 in the meeting room wing of the library, 5959 W. Brown St.
Prepare to do battle in a family Nerf war. Sign up as a group, then join a team to determine ultimate Nerf supremacy.
The event also will include a shooting range, skills challenge and quiet area (in case it is needed). This is an all-ages event, recommended for families with children ages 5 and up.
Children younger than 10 must be accompanied by a parent at all times. Participants may bring their own unmodified Nerf guns and darts. Modified guns will not be allowed in play.
The library is not responsible for lost guns and darts. Eye protection is highly recommended.
