Summer school registration is open at Deer Valley Unified School District, and the sessions start next month.
The last day of school for the current academic year is Thursday, May 19.
Aspire Academy offers Deer Valley Unified School District courses during the summer.
- Middle school courses are available for credit recovery
- High school courses are six weeks long, including the final
- All courses are AdvancED and NCAA accredited
- All courses are taught by DVUSD qualified teachers
- All courses are DVUSD aligned curriculum
- Math, English, social studies, science, PE/health, arts, CTE, elective courses available
- Extra teacher support available
Middle School Summer School is for DVUSD 7th and 8th grade students who need grade recovery to advance to the next grade level. Math, science, social studies, and language arts classes will be offered using an in-person/online hybrid format. Students must register for Middle School Summer School through their campus counselor.
Middle School Summer School runs May 31-June 23 at the Innovation Center, 20402 N. 15th Ave., Phoenix. All students must attend a summer school orientation with a parent/guardian on Tuesday, May 24 or Wednesday, May 25 at 6 p.m. at the Innovation Center.
High School Summer School is for 9th-12th grade students who must first meet with their campus counselor to approve summer school courses with Aspire. Registration is open now, and courses run from May 23-June 28.
