Gilbert hosting Independence celebration at Regional Park

The town of Gilbert will host its annual 4th of July Celebration presented by Earnhardt Auto Group and Haydon Building Corp

The free, family-friendly event will take place Thursday, July 4, at Gilbert Regional Park, 3005 E. Queen Creek Road, Gilbert.

Experience live performances by Chad Freeman & Redline, Dirt Road-The Jason Aldean Experience and Kenny Chesney Tribute, aerial entertainment, drone show plus a fireworks show!

On-site parking will be required for $15 per car by credit card only. More information can be found below.

General admission is free. The VIP Experience is an optional upgrade. 

Parking

Parking passes for Gilbert’s 4th of July Celebration will only be available for purchase on site and will need to be purchased using a credit card.

Carpooling or riding bicycles to the event is highly encouraged.

  • Parking lots open at 4 p.m. and the town encourages those attending to arrive as close to 4 p.m. at possible
  • $15 per car.
  • Parking passes are non-refundable.
  • Cash will not be accepted for on-site payment. Please plan accordingly.

Early arrival is highly encouraged as we are expecting heavy traffic all evening. Street closures will begin approximately 7:45 p.m. and access to the park will be limited or restricted. 

The town asks people attending to be courteous of the site and surrounding neighborhoods and not leave trash or block customer/residential or business parking.

All of Gilbert Regional Park will be closed beginning July 3 at 10 p.m. through July 4 at 4 p.m.

VIP Experience

While general admission is free, Gilbert offers a VIP Experience. It  offers guests premier lawn seating to live performances, fireworks, exclusive food and drink vendors, luxury restrooms, Gilbert swag and more.

Guests will need to bring their own chairs. Children under 2 years of age and are free. 

Tickets  for the VIP Experience are on sale now for $50 per person.

Note: Taxes and fees apply to all tickets. Tickets are non-refundable for this event. 

Schedule 

4:00 p.m. - Doors open.
 
4:15 p.m.-6:15 p,n,-Chad Freeman & Redline.
 
6:45 p.m.-7:45 p.m.-Dirt Road-The Jason Aldean Experience.

8:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.- Kenny Chesney Tribute.

8:50 p.m.- Fireworks and aerial show begin, weather permitting.

Food and drinks

A variety of food, drink and dessert trucks will be on site for the event. Alcohol and glass containers are strictly prohibited.

Note: Vendors will be accepting card and cash payments. No ATMs are available on site. Please plan accordingly. Vendors are subject to change.

What to bring

The town encourages attendees to bring:

  • Seating
    • Chairs
    • Blankets

  • Bug Spray
  • Sunscreen 
  • Water
  • Outside food, drinks and coolers are allowed, no alcohol permitted.

What not to bring

The following items are prohibited:

  • No pets
  • No glass containers
  • No alcohol
  • No canopies (including metal framed canopies)
  • No camping tents
  • No beach umbrellas (personal chair umbrellas are permitted)
  • No consumer fireworks 
  • No personal drones
  • No selling of any items without a permit

Accessibility

This event is held at Gilbert Regional Park. The park is fully accessible by strollers, wheelchairs and walkers. ADA Parking has first come, first serve and a parking placard will be required.  Parking is $15 per vehicle.

Stage lighting, lasers and strobe lights may be used during performances.
