The HEAL HER Art is on display at Rio Vista Community Center in Peoria.
The HEAL HER Art program provides fun, stress-releasing painting sessions for women veterans. The exhibit is available for viewing now through Veterans Day, Nov. 11.
Participants can submit artwork for three People’s Choice awards. Peoria Mayor Jason Beck will also present a Mayor’s Choice award.
The awards ceremony follows the Veterans Day Ceremony at 8 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 11 at Rio Vista, 8866 W. Thunderbird Road.
HEAL HER Art is a 2023 Peoria Arts Grant recipient. Money from the grant was used to professionally frame these pieces.
