Learn to develop focus, clarity, and inner peace with the Unified Mindfulness system of meditation.

This free, three-session class will feature instruction and practice of the Unified Mindfulness technique, which combines ancient traditions with science.

It can benefit those new to meditation as well as seasoned meditators. Online registration, which opens Thursday, Sept. 26, is through the Fountain Hills Branch of the Maricopa County Library, mcldaz.org/fountain-hills/.

The developer of Unified Mindfulness, Shinzen Young, has collaborated to study mindfulness practices with neuroscientists at Harvard Medical School and several other universities. Currently he is co-director of the SEMA LAB at the University of Arizona’s Center for Consciousness Center.

The instructor for the course is Tom Liffiton, a certified Unified Mindfulness coach with over 40 years meditation experience.
