Randy’s Donuts is set to open a new location Thursday, Aug. 29, inside the new Pilot Travel Center at 17405 S. 40th Street in Chandler, just south of Loop 202, or the South Mountain Freeway, according to a news release.
According to the blog Mouth by Southwest, Randy’s iconic Los Angeles doughnut shop has been featured in dozens of movies and TV shows. The longstanding business opened its first Arizona location, on Seventh Street south of Bethany Home in Phoenix, earlier this year.
The chain is known best for adding everything from marshmallows to chocolate and all types of specialty toppings on regular round donuts, though it does have a beverage line. Its website, randysdonuts.com, has a page devoted to potential future franchisees.
