I-10 near Chandler: More overnight bridge work this week

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises motorists to plan for overnight lane restrictions along I-10 in the Wild Horse Pass corridor this week, June 24-26, as work continues on the I-10 Bridges Over the Gila River Project near mileposts 172 and 173.

The overnight restrictions will be similar to those in place last week, June 17 to 19.

From 9 p.m., Monday, June 24, to 5 a.m., Tuesday, June 25, eastbound I-10 will have the right lane open only near the Gila River bridges.

From 9 p.m., Tuesday June 25, to 5 a.m., Wednesday, June 26, westbound I-10 will have the right lane open only near the Gila River bridges.

Drivers should allow extra travel time, drive with caution and reduce their speed while driving through the construction work zone. The speed limit in the work zone is 55 mph.
