Among the things in this world that can kill you, Suzanne Murray has survived more than her fair share.

We never know why our lives twist in the direction they do. Between death, divorce, and disease, business owner and mother Suzanne Murray had reason to feel as if the odds were against her from the start.

Through her unshakable faith in God, Murray came up with her brand of positivity and triumph over tragedy.

In her book, due to be released March 28, “Skidding into Heaven,” readers can experience Murray’s humorous and poignant God stories — stories that can only be explained by the miracle of God’s ever-loving presence guiding Suzanne’s path.

From surviving a near-death experience in childbirth, to the death of her business and life partner husband, to marrying a skilled con man and living with stage 4 cancer, Murray offers hope, wisdom, and a way to chuckle through unthinkable obstacles.

With laugh-out-loud honesty, Murray provides Christian women encouragement to grow stronger in the peace of God’s timing, whether in moments of joy or challenge.

Whether dealing with the death of loved ones, disease, divorce, or anything that may turn your world upside down, this memoir will help women experience the freedom that comes when you surrender bitterness and embrace your blessings, firmly rooted in God’s unending strength and support.

Learn why heaven awaits all who walk life’s journey with resilient faith — even if you skid your way through the gates.

Murray, a retired business owner and mother, has transformed her life’s adversities into lessons of strength and positivity.

It covers her journey from managing a thriving safety gear manufacturing company, to overcoming personal challenges like cancer and loss. She wants her story to serve as a beacon of hope for others facing similar trials.

These challenges have not only tested her but also taught her the vital skill of maintaining a positive outlook. Murray firmly believes in the power of daily practice in cultivating this skill, emphasizing its role in personal well-being and in uplifting those around her.

The second-oldest of six children, Murray says her life took a dramatic turn when she became a widow and single mother, managing two businesses and raising five children.

A deceitful relationship and battling breast cancer while pursuing higher education, earning a degree in business management at 53, accompanied her founding and heading her manufacturing company, Vinatronics Inc. She sold her company and retired at 60.

Murray lives in the Ocotillo area of southern Chandler, enjoying a fulfilling life with her husband and a blended family. She has 13 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
