The Friends of Chandler Public Library have prepared for Library Giving Day, which is Wednesday, April 3.

Beyond public funding, donors who support the Friends are making an impact within community libraries.

The Chandler Public Library system provides services residents and visitors rely on, including physical collections, eBooks and digital resources, public computers, tech help, tutoring, kindergarten readiness assistance, nontraditional items for loan such as cultural passes, and other programs for all ages.

Interested individuals may donate through the Friends of the Library fundraising form.

National Library Week recognizes the far-reaching impact libraries make within our communities.

One of the featured events during Library Week is the Local Authors Fair on Saturdya, April 6. This unique event features more than 30 Arizona authors and zine creators. Meet the authors, learn about the stories behind their work, and participate in interactive activities at the Makery.

Additional Library Week events the Lego Club on Wednesday, Family Science on April 8 and the Nature of Things: Introduction to Nature Journaling on April 13.

For more information on Library Giving Day or National Library Week, call 480-782-2800 or visit the Chandler Public Library website
