Meet candidates for local office at Thursday event in Apache Junction

Superstition Mountain Republican Club is hosting a Gathering of the Patriots Meet & Greet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 20, in Apache Junction.
It will be at Avalon Elementary School, 1045 S. San Marcos Drive.
The event is open to the public and includes candidates who are seeking to serve the Apache Junction/Gold Canyon area by running for office in 2024.
“We will have more than 20 candidates including those running for the Apache Junction school board, the mayor and City Council, Pinal County supervisor, sheriff, district attorney, school superintendent, recorder, treasurer as well as our state senator, state representatives, etc.,” according to a release. “Each candidate will have a table set up for you to come and learn about them with direct and face-to-face interaction with the candidate. This promises to be an exciting and very informative event, so please mark your calendar for the Gathering of the Patriots Meet & Greet.”
