Feng shui expert to discuss how to transform your life and space

Thomas talk Aug. 15 at Community of Women luncheon

The Community of Women business referral group will host certified Feng shui practitioner/instructor Lori Thomas on Thursday, Aug. 15.

The talk is free to members and $20 for guests for the 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. event at Mimi’s Cafe, 2800 W. Chandler Blvd. in Chandler. Guests are encouraged to sign up early at www.communityofwomen.org.

In her talk, “The Power to Change Your Life,” Thomas will discuss how she uses both intuition and Feng shui — an ancient Chinese practice that involves arranging buildings, objects and spaces to create balance and harmony — to help her clients live a more balanced life, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. She will also address how to locate where there are disturbances in the energy flow of one’s home and physical body, and makes necessary corrections in order to bring a better flow to enhance health and harmony, according to a release.

Thomas has extensive training from the Feng Shui Institute of Physics and Energy. She began her training after experiencing some mishaps herself. She noticed when she applied the Feng shui principles the mishaps stopped and she was able to move forward in her life.

“In the time I’ve known Lori I’ve been impressed with how she helps her clients break old patterns and negative beliefs that can block them from moving forward in their lives. But she does so much more. Once those deterrents are identified she helps individuals replace those beliefs with more positive programs,” Lena Morrissey, president and founder of Community of Women, said in the release. “I’m sure everyone who attends our August luncheon will come away with a better understanding of how to improve themselves and their surroundings.”

Thomas will host a free Zoom seminar, “Reprogram Your Mind for Success!” 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3. Go to https://www.meetup.com/spiritual-empowerment-healing-center/events/302215160/
