Battle of the Badges April 20 in Apache Junction

A softball game between Apache Junction Police Department and Superstition Fire and Medical District will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 20, at Prospector Park, 3015 N. Idaho Road in Apache Junction.

The Battle of the Badges, hosted by StandUp AJ, Apache Junction’s drug-prevention coalition, is in its third year.

Picnic items will be available for purchase. Silent auction to benefit StandUp AJ.

Nonprofits are invited to set up booths, Interested vendors may email director@standupaj.org.

StandUp AJ was formed in 2020 and replaced a drug-prevention coalition that started serving Apache Junction in 2008 and dissolved. Volunteers include Apache Junction community members, law-enforcement officials, educators and National Guard Counter Drug Task Force representatives.
