A presentation and discussion on a more than $135,000 contract award to Chasse Building Team to remodel the Apache Junction Public Library’s restrooms will be discussed by the Apache Junction City Council Tuesday.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the council chambers at City Hall, 300 E. Superstition Blvd.

The contract utilizes a cooperative contract in an amount not to exceed $135,620, according to the agenda.

According to a Chasse Building Team estimate in the council packet, work includes:

• Demolition of tiles, countertops, baby-changing tables and toilet partitions in the men’s and women’s restrooms.
• Replace wall tile in men’s and women’s restrooms with ceramic tile.
• At boys and girls restroom, patch tiles as needed.
  Replace floor tile in men’s and women’s restroom with ceramic tile.
• Furnish and install solid surface counter with built-in sinks. New faucets will be furnished and installed.
• Furnish and install baby changing tables.
• Furnish and install 24-inch-by-24-inch mirrors, two each in men’s and women’s restrooms.
• Demo and reinstall outlets in men’s and women’s restrooms, upgrading light fixtures.
