Surprise's Sterling Grove racks up several awards

Builder awarded for its upscale West Valley community

Toll Brothers, a national builder of luxury homes, recently announced the company’s Arizona Division was recognized as the winner of 13 awards in the annual MAME (Major Achievement in Merchandising Excellence) competition, including Surprise’s Sterling Grove neighborhood.

The buiilder took honors for seven projects in its Sterling Grove area, including two for Best Architectural Design, one for Bluemont (detached home under 2,000 square feet) and Hastings (detached home 3,000 to 3,750 square feet)

Other awards included Best Interior Merchandising for a 55-plus Active Adult Plan and Best Architectural Design for 55-plus Active Adult Plan with Sterling Grove’s Matthews plan.

The Sunburst design won Best Outdoor Living Space Over $1 million as well as Best Interior Merchandising Over $1.5 million.

The final award went to the Calistoga plan for Best Interior Merchandising $750,000 to $1 million.

Sereno Canyon in Scottsdale was named Community of the Year.

Sponsored by the Home Builders Association of Central Arizona, the MAME Awards honor the industry’s best in advertising, design, merchandising and sales.

Toll Brothers’ homes at Adero Canyon in Fountain Hills were one of the 13 categories that Toll Brothers was recognized.

Toll Brothers was selected as the Grand Award winner in other categories in Scottsdale:

  • Home of the Year Over $2 million – Sereno Canyon – Sunburst.
  • Best Architectural Design – Detached Home 3,750+ square feet: Sereno Canyon - Sunburst.
  • Best Signage Program: Sereno Canyon | Scottsdale.
  • Best Community Amenity: Sereno Canyon | Scottsdale.
