Letters: Surprise patron wants more service from local libraries

Posted

I am an 84 year old and a 20-year resident of Surprise.

I am extremely upset with the Surprise Library System.

I read my books online.

However, the main usage for me and many other people I know is getting DVDs to watch.

Just yesterday I drove to the El Mirage Library. The drive was 20 miles round trip, which took 45 minutes.

As for books , seven days without renewals is also not reasonable.
Previous emails to Surprise did not result in bettering this situation.
