Join Tempe Aquatics for Poolapalooza on Saturday, July 13, from 6 to 9 p.m. at McClintock Pool, an opportunity for residents to play games, swim, enjoy music and frozen treats and win prizes.

Admission is free, but capacity is limited, so it’s first come, first served, a city release explained.

If you can’t make it to Poolapalooza, there’s still time to chill out this summer at one of Tempe’s pools and splash pads.

The Kiwanis Wave Pool offers daily wave sessions from 1 to 5 p.m. and the brand new Clark Park Pool features a water slide and zero-depth entry. McClintock and Escalante pools are also open all summer long for lap and open swim. View hours and admission fees, the release stated.

Tempe's free splash pads and splash playground The Cloud at Kiwanis Park are all open daily 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. through October.
