Cypress Hill performs in Tempe May 5

Renowned rap group Cypress Hill is scheduled to perform in Tempe on Sunday, May 5, at Marquee Theatre.

The band recently teamed up with their favorite toasted sub shop, Cheba Hut, to bring fans exclusive, Cypress Hill-curated cocktails and limited-edition merch for rap groupies and sub-connoisseurs alike, a press release explained.

Available through June 30th, fans can step into the psychedelic world of Cypress Hill with The Lowrider Amplified bar special – personally crafted by the band themselves. Also through June 30, the cannabis-themed restaurant and bar will sell swag co-branded with Cypress Hill on the Cheba Hut merch site, according to the release.

“We couldn’t be happier to join forces with a hugely influential group like Cypress Hill,” Cheba Hut Founder Scott Jennings stated in the release. “When it comes to embracing the Cheba Hut vibe, Cypress Hill gets it like no other — and what better occasion to unite than on 4/20 and blaze a trail together.”

Additionally, fans of both the band and the brand can be on the lookout for more information online regarding free ticket giveaways and meet-and-greet opportunities at their local Cheba Hut Tempe location with members of the rap group, if they’re schedule permits, the release noted.

“When we were approached to partner with Cheba Hut on our upcoming tour, we knew we had to say ‘yes,’” Sen Dog of Cypress Hill stated in the release. “Their culture, creativity and sense of community pair perfectly with Cypress Hill’s vibe. Our shows are meant to celebrate the diversity of our fans, and Cheba Hut embraces that too, creating welcoming spaces for everyone to not only enjoy great food but also great music.”
