Members of the Machine Embroidery Group, a special interest group within Rip ‘N’ Sew, makes embroidered items for Agape Care Home of Scottsdale and recently donated six lap quilts.

Agape Care Home has 10 to 12 residents who need full-time assistance or are in Hospice care.

All MEG members took part in making the laptop quilts, said Barbara Ruzic, chairperson of the group.

Rose Waldon, a Rip ‘N’ Sew member but not a MEG member, also made seven bags for wheelchairs or walkers. MEG sent the bags along with the lap quilts.
