Seniors can get help finding a ride in Sun City West

Seniors in Sun City West can get help to find transportation. 

A free  ‘Find Your Ride’ class  10 a.m. Thursday, July 25, at the Sun City West Foundation, 14465 W R.H. Johnson Blvd., in the Quail Room.

The class will include resources available for short and long trips, how to apply for and use the Ride Choice public transit service and help in navigating ride-share apps such as Lyft and Uber. 

Another class to help residents with ride applications, such as Uber, Lyft, taxi services and public transportation  is scheduled for next month. 

This class requires registration at 10 a.m.  Thursday, Aug. 8 at the Foundation, 14465 W. R.H. Johnson Blvd in the Quail room. 

This class will include a list of ride apps and help in downloading the app on a smartphone and how to use it.  

There will be additional  ‘Find Your Ride’ information classes at 10 am Thursdays on Aug. 22, Sept. 26 and Oct. 24.

The Find-Your-Ride Call Center is open from 8 a.m. to noon Monday through Thursday.
