Reader helps find caregivers in Sun City, Sun City West area
Posted
Name: Presley Reader
Business name: ComForCare Caregiving, 623-934-2722, preader@comforcare.com.
Town/neighborhood: We provide services throughout Sun City West and the surrounding areas.
Personal background highlights: I’ve owned and operated ComForCare for nine years. I have a bachelor’s degree in international business from New Mexico State University and a master’s in public administration from Texas A&M.
What I do: ComForCare hires, trains and matches caregivers with clients who need help with daily activities, including medication reminders, transportation, meal preparation, dressing, bathing and more. All caregivers are background checked, drug tested, bonded and insured. We guarantee that we will find the right person for you or your loved one!
What I like most about doing business here: As a history buff and a “people person,” I truly enjoy getting to know our clients and their families. Each person we work with has their own unique story and, in order to serve them well, we must learn that story.
What I’m excited about and why: I’m excited about helping our clients achieve their goals, which often means helping them avoid a move to assisted living and, instead, continuing to live wherever they call home.
Favorite community cause and why: I volunteer as a speaker and community educator with Benevilla and the Alzheimer’s Association. I love both of these organizations and their missions.
My family: My wife and I have three children at home. We love to be outdoors as a family and to take summer road trips across our great country.
People who inspire me and how: My parents have been married for 50 years and I am eternally grateful to them for showing me how to be kind, generous, hard-working and persistent.
My guiding philosophy: Micah 6:8 is a verse from the Bible that I use as a guiding philosophy. It says, “What does the Lord require of you but to do justly, love mercy and walk humbly.”
