The Sun City West Model Railroad Club is open 9 a.m.-noon Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, at the HO-N scale club room at R.H. Johnson. All RCSCW card holders are welcome to join and operate the club equipment or bring their own.
The club also offers operational meetings for the HO scale trains along with club get togethers, picnics and dinners. Women are part of the club as the Choo Choo Chicks. They gather for social events and to help the club with fundraising endeavors and other club functions.
First year dues are $30; $20 each year thereafter. Guests welcome at all times to view the trains and scenery.
The outdoor Beardsley G Scale run hours resume Oct. 1 with ghosts and haunted trains at Halloween. Holiday trains and scenic layouts in the club courtyard will also be presented during the day the week before Thanksgiving and again just before Christmas at both the R.H. Johnson and Beardsley location.
