AAUW group gathers in Sun City West

The American Association of University Women-Northwest Valley had their last Summer Survivor luncheon Aug. 15 at Bette’s Rooste in Sun City West.

AAUW meetings are 9 a.m. the third Thursday of the month from September to April at the Sun City West Foundation. There are great Special Interest Groups such as Bridge, food and wine groups, Euchre, many book clubs, hiking club, travel club, women’s history, Mah Jongg, Great Decisions, Girlfriends and More and Arizona Adventures.

The group also hosts a fashion show at Briarwood Country Club to benefit the scholarship program.

Membership is open to anyone holding an associates, bachelor’s or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
