WHAM Art Center, along with Four Common Corners, is hosting its first ever all fiber art exhibit Dec. 2 to 30 at 16560 N. Dysart Road.
The public is welcome at this free event.
WHAM has rotating exhibits every month and this December the gallery will showcase the work of 13 artists living in Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado and Utah.
Four Common Corners is an invitational group whose artists come from these four adjoining states drawn together and influenced by the unusual and striking beauty of the area.
This exhibit will showcase work from the group’s call to art in the themes of “Transparency” and “The Way we Were.”
“The goal for this exhibition is to promote fiber as a creative artistic medium while sharing our love and highlighting the unique region we live in,” said local exhibiting artist and WHAM member Debra Gole. "We have many commonalities in landscape and yet we are all unique in our style and approach to creating art.”
