The CEO for YWCA Metropolitan Phoenix in Glendale will be honored as the West Valley Women’s Networking Group’s Woman of the Year.
Debbie Esparza will earn the recognition at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3 at Arizona Broadway Theatre, 7701 W. Paradise Lane, in Peoria.
Esparza has been leading the way in creating justice and equity for women, girls, and people of color across the Valley, a press release explains.
“I am excited to honor Debbie Esparza, as the West Valley Women Networking Association’s 2023 Woman of the Year,” West Valley Women’s Chief Connections Officer Lisa Platt stated. “Not only does the YWCA Metropolitan Phoenix have a strong West Valley presence, but it also advocates for women throughout the region.”
The YWCA Metropolitan Phoenix is located at 8561 N. 61st Ave., in Glendale.
Since 1912, YWCA Metropolitan Phoenix has been on a mission to eliminate racism, empower women, and promote peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all, the organization states.
