A man was shot and died Tuesday in the West Valley, and Phoenix police are asking for help in finding his killer.

The man, who has not been identified, was shot about 5:15 p.m. Aug. 27 near 43rd Avenue and Camelback Road. Officers arrived and found he had at least one gunshot wound, according to a Phoenix Police Department release.

The victim was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Homicide detectives took over the investigation and request anyone with information to call Silent Witness at 480(WITNESS) or 480(TESTIGO) and provide an anonymous tip.

Rewards will be paid for information leading to an arrest, police said.
