Buckeye police arrested a 12-year-old girl Sunday after receiving allegations from authorities in Wisconsin connecting her with a school threat in the Milwaukee area.
On Sunday morning, Sept. 23, the Buckeye Police Department was contacted by the Milwaukee Police Department about a school threat investigation in their area after finding an IP address linked to a home in Buckeye, police said.
Buckeye police went to her home where the girl was interviewed and evidence was recovered, according to a release from the department.
She was arrested and booked on felony charges, including making a terroristic threat.
No threats were made against Buckeye schools, police said.
