5/3 THURSDAY

KARAOKE: Take the mic at 9 p.m. at Irish Wolfhound Restaurant and Pub, 16811 Litchfield Road, No. 104.

LIVE MUSIC: Ken Frerichs performs at noon at Birt’s Bistro, 16752 N. Greasewood St.

5/4 FRIDAY

ROCK ART: WHAM Rocks takes place at 6 p.m. at 16560 N. Dysart Road. A family-friendly evening of painting rocks. All supplies will be provided for a $10 donation from adults and $5 for kids. All proceeds will benefit WHAM’s children’s art programs.

LIVE SHOW: Western Fusion Band performs at 9 p.m. at The Brookside II Sports Bar and Grille, 15170 W. Bell Road, Suite 115.

LIVE MUSIC: Steve Klassen performs at noon at Birt’s Bistro, 16752 N. Greasewood St.

LIVE SHOW: Western Fusion Band performs at 9 p.m. at The Brookside II Sports Bar and Grille, 15170 W. Bell Road, Suite 115.

BROADWAY: The “Best of Broadway” show starts at 7 p.m. at the Sonoran Plaza Ballroom, 19789 N. Remington Drive. Tickets are $20.

LIVE MUSIC: Jaty Edwards Band performs at 9 p.m. at Irish Wolfhound Restaurant and Pub, 16811 Litchfield Road, No. 104.

EXHIBIT RECEPTION: Contemporary Women Artists (CWA), a group of award-winning artists, will exhibit at the WHAM Gallery through May 30. The show will display two- and three-dimensional art in various mediums, including clay, mixed media, watercolor, oil and acrylic. Opening reception is 3-5 p.m. Saturday, May 5. Public is welcome. The WHAM Gallery is located at 16560 N. Dysart Road.

CINCO DE MAYO: A Cinco de Mayo celebration staring Colour Blinde starts at 5 p.m. at Birt’s Bistro, 16752 N. Greasewood St.

5/6 SUNDAY

BENEFIT SHOW: The Surprise Pops Band will perform a benefit concert for the Valley View Community Food Bank at 3 p.m. at Advent Episcopal Church, 13150 W. Spanish Garden Drive, Sun City West.

LIVE SHOW: Copper Sunrise performs at 3 p.m. at Irish Wolfhound Restaurant and Pub, 16811 Litchfield Road, No. 104.

5/7 MONDAY

MEETING: The Arts and Cultural Advisory Commission meets 6-8 p.m. inside the council overflow room, 16000 N. Civic Center Plaza. The commission encourages cultural growth in the city and to ensure that art, culture and entertainment are central elements of the quality of life for city residents.

LIVE MUSIC: Masato Tachi performs at noon at Birt’s Bistro, 16752 N. Greasewood St.

5/8 TUESDAY

LIVE SHOW: Spirited Lads perform at 5 p.m. at Irish Wolfhound Restaurant and Pub, 16811 Litchfield Road, No. 104.

LIVE MUSIC: Kent Schmitt performs at noon at Birt’s Bistro, 16752 N. Greasewood St
