Webster: Kudos for R.H. Johnson Library

Posted

I read about the visit from the Overdrive Library vehicle in the July 31 edition.

I was reminded of the school that I attended in Boston up until early fifth grade in 1962. It was old and had no library, so once per week, a bookmobile came to the school. It was basically a big bus with no side windows, and the side walls were lined with shelves of books.

It is wonderful that people still have a love of books. Despite what some people say, there will always be books!

I also want to say that the RHJ Library is amazing. My wife and I were recently there, and resolved that we must visit more often.

There is something there for everyone, and the folks who work there are friendly and helpful. If you are not availing yourself of this great facility, do so.
