The six candidates for the Arizona Corporation Commission sat down for a debate Wednesday night to discuss their approach to what they would do if elected.

Three seats are available on the commission that regulates utilities and businesses around the state. The seats are four-year terms.

Republican Lea Marquez Peterson is the only incumbent running to retain a seat on the commission. Republicans Rachel Walden and Rene Lopez, and Democrats Ylenia Aguilar, Jonathon Hill and Joshua Polacheck.
