Residents can go online now and vote for the Arizona Sports Hall of Fame 2023 class.

The Arizona Sports & Entertainment Commission announced nominees for exceptional achievements in sports. The Hall of Fame ballot celebrates a variety of athletes and sports contributors who have left an indelible mark on Arizona’s sporting landscape.

The 2023 ballot:

  • Steve Kerr (basketball) - Known for his significant impact both as a player and a coach in the basketball arena.
  • Tedy Bruschi (football) - Legendary linebacker admired for his formidable presence in the NFL and contributions to Arizona football.
  • Annika Sorenstam (golf) - Golf legend whose career has been marked by groundbreaking achievements and unparalleled prowess.
  • Henry Cejudo (wrestling/MMA) - Olympic gold medalist and MMA champion, celebrated for his extraordinary athleticism and competitive spirit.
  • Bobby Winkles (baseball) - Iconic ASU baseball head coach who led the team to three national championships and earned two NCAA Coach of the Year accolades.
  • Charli Turner Thorne (basketball) - Recognized for her long-standing and successful tenure as a basketball coach, significantly influencing the women's game.
  • Lyndsey Fry (hockey) - A trailblazer in women’s hockey and a role model for aspiring athletes in Arizona.

Fans can vote online at www.AZsportsENT.com.

The voting period is open now through 11:59 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12.

Winners will be announced Friday, Dec. 1.

Candidates must meet any one of three criteria for Arizona Sports Hall of Fame consideration: born in Arizona; immediately recognized as an Arizonan; made at least two significant contributions to Arizona’s athletic community.
