Varanauski: Attraction to Sun City was it was for seniors

My wife and I live in Sun City and we are very much against allowing anyone under the age of 18 to live in Sun City (“Overlay decision in limbo,” Sun City Independent, Dec. 7, 2022).
The reason we moved into Sun City was that it was a senior community for 55 and older. We are concerned about taxes going up if students need to attend schools K-12 and the school districts ask to have our taxes support their school system.
So, please do not allow any permit for underage children to live in Sun City.
