Valley veteran takes fifth in video game tourney raising money for vets

A Valley resident took a top spot in an online video game tournament aimed at raising money for the Wounded Warrior Project.

Arizona native Ricky Olguin, who was born in Yuma and has resided in Buckeye and Tempe, took fifth place in the livestreamed event. Olguin joined the U.S. Army as a medic in 2013 for four years until he medically retired.
