US 60 has reopened in both directions between Superior and Miami, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The highway had been closed since this morning due to an unforeseen need for additional blasting operations related to the US 60, Queen Creek and Waterfall Canyon Bridges Replacement Project.

During blasting closures, traffic detoured on state routes 77 and 177 through Winkelman.
