Goc Saigon has taken over the space in a shopping center on the northwest corner of Arizona Avenue and Ray Road.

For the past six years, Max Saigon occupied the space, located between Advanced Auto Parts and a K-MONO clothings store. Max Saigon closed in early July.

The Vietnamese restaurant has Pho, mi, bún, rice dishes, hot pots, snails, and about 12 chef’s specials.

Sò duong and sò lông, grilled with oiled scallions, is a popular item. Oc huong xào bo toi — snails sautéed with garlic butter — also has received positive reviews online.

Drinks include Vietnamese salty lemonade, Vietnamese coffee, sodas and teas.

The hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesdays through Sundays. They’re closed Mondays.
